What is collected
A count of visits, through a cookieless analytics service. It records that a page was opened, which page, roughly where in the world from, on what kind of device, and which link or search sent you. That is the whole of it.
It sets no cookies, stores no identifier in your browser and builds no profile. To tell one visit from another without one, the service derives a hash from the incoming request, rotates it daily and discards it; your IP address is not stored. Nothing it gathers is tied to a person, and nothing in it could be.
There is no advertising on this site, no third-party tracker, no embedded video or social widget, and no font or script loaded from anybody else’s server. Your browser talks to this domain and, once you follow a link, to whichever site you chose.
What is not collected
- No account, so no name, email address or password.
- No cookies, no local storage, nothing kept in your browser.
- No record of which games you clicked, and nothing that could be assembled into a history of one person’s visits.
- Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising. There is nobody to share it with.
Links out of here
Every link to a game carries ?ref=best-daily-puzzles.com on the end. It tells the site you are visiting that you came from here, which is how the people who make these games can see that this index sends them anybody. It says nothing about you: it is the same fixed text on every visitor’s link, and nothing about it is recorded on this side.
Once you follow one, you are on somebody else’s site under somebody else’s privacy policy. Several of the games listed here do use cookies, accounts and advertising. That is theirs to explain and yours to decide on, and it is worth reading the policy of any you play every day.
Hosting
The site is served by a commercial hosting provider, which processes requests in order to deliver pages and keeps short-lived operational logs in the ordinary way a web host does. Nobody here reads them to learn about a visitor.
Your rights
Data protection law gives you the right to see what is held about you, to correct it and to have it deleted. Here, all three are already satisfied by there being nothing: no record this site keeps is attached to a person, so there is nothing to produce, nothing to correct and nothing to erase. Requesting it would return an empty answer, which is the answer.
Changes
If what this site collects ever changes, this page changes in the same release and the date at the top moves with it. A policy updated after the fact is not a policy.
